DRIP IRRIGATION PIPE
Drip irrigation pipes are widely used in modern irrigation systems in agriculture. Once the water has been cleaned of sand, clay, alpae and other mechanical additives through special filters by the help of these pipes, it is sent to the root part of plants in the form of drips. These pipes may be applied in an area with any relief.
The application of drip irrigation pipes allows the automation of all irrigation processes and this, in its turn, results in reduction of labour costs. Unlike traditional surface irrigation, coefficient of performance in drip irrigation method is more than 95%.
The drip irrigation is used in irrigation of all types of fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry, apricot, peanut, nut, hazelnut, tea plant, citrus trees). Only root feeding is provided by this system.
The pipes are installed directly in the the soil surface and 0.5 m above soil surface.
ADVANTAGES
- It provides irrigation opportunity at any time during the day.
- It provides 100% homogeneous, equal irrigation.
- With less water applications, it allows cultivation without stress on the plant.
- Energy requirement is low due to the possibility of irrigation at low pressures.
- It provides an increase in quality and efficiency between 20% and 90% according to the product.
- The crop ripens 2-3 weeks early.
- Water loss by surface flow and evaporation is very low, providing 50% water savings.
- Since it does not wet the entire area, it minimizes disease and weed development. Reduces hoeing labor. It provides less soil compaction (hardening).
- It is easy to install and move.
- It allows irrigation even in areas where there is not enough water available.
- It provides the opportunity to ripen and harvest in one hand because the water and fertilizer distribution are equal to the plants.
- The drip irrigation system can be easily made in desired amounts at any time according to the climatic conditions, the special requests of the plants and the development periods.
